N00b Sonic Fans Make Me Laugh...

...'cause they're so frickin' stupid.

Hey, it's n5d25d90 here, with a new rant. A rant that I hope you Sonic fans will find mildy interesting. And if not, oh well.

Okay, first thing's first: if you are a Sonic fan and you were born after 1996, you don't know crap about Sonic. Quit acting like you know everything about it and maybe - just maybe - we'll let you on the Sonic bandwagon.

Oh, and for your convenience, here's how you know you were born before 1996:

- You don't give a crap about chao (except Cheese, 'cause he rocks).
- You know Tails is a guy, but sometimes you like to think he's a girl 'cause - let's face it - he got booty.
- You refer to Dr. Eggman as Dr. Robotnik, and you miss his "walrus teeth" outfit (complete with a cape that you almost never really see).
- You remember Sonic before he became "anorexic".
- You remember when Knuckles didn't have to punch a wall to break it down - he just walks through it.
- You remember Debug Mode (good times... good times...).
- You appreciate the music of the best band to ever contribute to Sonic the Hedgehog, Dreams Come True.
- You appreciate the remixes of the music contributed by Dreams Come True in Sonic Advance.
- You actually recall the music contributed by Dreams Come True that were remixed in Sonic Advance.
- Amy was younger and (probably) less of a slut.
- Mecha Sonic pwned.
- Egg Robo pwned.
- The Death Egg was the best Star Wars rip-off ever in your eyes.
- Super Sonic was the best DBZ rip-off ever in your eyes.
- You remember Urkel playing Sonic in three different TV spin-offs.
- You remember when it was only Sonic and Robotnik (and you also remember when there were only six chaos emeralds).
- You remember when special stages were actually easier than the game.
- You remember when Sonic almost kicked Mario's butt in terms of most-loved game mascot.
- Knux always got the hard parts of levels...
- Either Sonic 2 or 3/Knuckles is your favorite Sonic game of all time.
- Knux getting electrocuted in Hidden Palace Zone was the most "shocking" plot development you've ever seen in any Sonic game.
- The Wrecking Ball Pendelum thing will forever be sketched into your mind, along with everything else from Green Hill Zone.
- No one made you laugh harder than Scratch and Grounder. Admit it!

Now for the n00bs that hate Sally for no good reason: this next part is for you.

First of all, Sally may not have been made by Sonic Team, but... heh heh... neither was Amy. Therefore, don't use this as an excuse.

Second, we all know why you really hate Sally. It's not because she's "nude". It's because you want Amy to have Sonic. Here's how I know this:

1. I don't know if you've ever noticed this before... but Sonic's nude too.
2. Tails is nude too.
3. Knuckles is nude too.
4. Cheese technically is nude too, but the bow-tie is too distracting for you to notice anyway. Plus, he looks like a blue Fawful, and that's also very distracting.
5. All the aforementioned are males and... let's face it... they have waaaaaaay more to hide than the girls do. But then again, most of you Sally-haters are girls who probably have never seen one of those things anyway and you're not really sure they exist.
6. How can you call Sally a slut when Amy constantly flashes her panties in virtually every game she's ever been in?
7. Maybe it's just your fantasy. I mean, Sally is relatively mild mannered and would never want to hurt anyone. Amy, on the other hand, is a controlling, maniacal, stereotypically whiny self-proclaimed girlfriend/stalker/fangirl of Sonic the Hedgehog and threatens him constantly with a giant mallet. Because of this, I assume you like to control guys too and make them sleep on the couch just for forgetting it was your second cousin's birthday. I also assume you too would love to hit said guy with a giant mallet for actually having an opinion and/or free will.

Because of this, I proclaim that Sally haters' opinions are null and void, because they have no frickin' clue what they're talking about.

This is merely an example, by the way. I know a lot of pairings that have flamers that have no idea what they are talking about, and when the time comes, you'll get yours.

Thus ends my rant... for now. And before you think that I don't know what I'm talking about, think of this:

I've been a Sonic fan since I was... oh, I don't know... two?

Checkmate.

I'm up, over, and gone. Peace out.

Nickelodeon and DeviantART: Idiots In Charge

I'm sure most of you will agree with me on this one.

What is n5d25d90 ranting about this time? The two things that everyone wishes were human beings so they can punch these two in the face.

So now it's about time we punch Tweedle-Dumb and Tweedle-Dumber.

Let's start with Tweedle-Dumb: Nickelodeon. Now, I really had a hard time figuring out which one was the "Dumber" of the two, so I just went with the order I listed them earlier.

Here's the deal: Our favorite little cat-based Mexican superhero (I had to say Mexican 'cause otherwise Catman would fit that category too) has been cancelled, or at least that's what I read on the internet, so the truth in it is still kinda sketchy, but knowing Nickelodeon... it probably was.

What the heck is up with Nickelodeon cancelling all the good shows? Did they just look at the ratings and say "Oh, everyone else likes this show, but 6 year olds don't and that's who we want to target in our quest for world domination. Therefore, we'll keep playing the same old crap we've been playing since 1999 (that includes you SpongeBob -- you're dried up. Jump back in the lake), but all the good stuff that everyone loves will be flushed down the toilet. Now, who wants a mudpie?" That last part is to show that these guys have no frickin' clue how to run a business as they are pretty much idiots.

I believe I once said something along the lines of the following: If El Tigre, whom I believe to be Viacom's last hope, were to follow the footsteps of MLaaTR, Angry Beavers, and Invader ZIM, I'd stop watching Nickelodeon altogether. Well, it's starting to get to that point.

Nickelodeon, you fail at life.

Now for Tweedle-Dumber: DeviantART.

You ever notice that things seemed to go downhill since Jark left? Hmm? Hint hint...

The name of the site is DEVIANTART!!! And yet anything that shows cartoon characters who are CLEARLY over 18 in the picture (despite being younger in the shows) -- it doesn't even have to be "mature" at all, all that matters if she has boobs -- gets taken off. Ironically, any REAL picture of some girl getting raped, tortured, tied down, bonded up, etc. IT'S OKAY!! THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! IT'S JUST THE PERSON "EXPRESSING" THEMSELVES!!!

What kind of moron do you take us for, DeviantART?

And if someone simly reports another person for stealing art when they didn't (ie: Kris Wilson) because they didn't think it was really that person... wow. A little research might help prevent the controversal could-have-been-solved-in-many-other-ways event that occured afterwards.

The only reason why I even go back there is to see how my cyber pals are doing.

DeviantART, you fail at life too.

*punches Nickelodeon and DeviantART in the face*

Someone had to do it.

Vacation

WUUUZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!

Christmas vacation, baby!

Deck the halls, ring the bells, thank the good Lord you survived driving on those crappy snow-and-ice covered roads, and open those presents your grandma probably wrapped three years in advance (and chances are, it'll probably be clothes).

This is going to be a fun week for me. :D

...

Okay, maybe not (Comm project), but what the hey? It gives me time to look at my e-mail and do other stuff too.

IN OTHER NEWS:

If you've seen my scraps or old-as-crap journals on DevART, you may remember me mentioning a weird, possibly insane dude I referred to as "Beef". Well, if his... "astonishing" background intrigued you, you can find him on YouTube! Will he kill me for saying this? Eh... I don't even think he knows this blog exists. Anyways, he and a few more of my classmates can be found on YouTube doing... well... really stupid stuff. The TV show "Jackass" comes to mind, actually. Anyways, I'm not going to look up the link (I'm too lazy to), but you should find at least one of the videos (and therefore the page the rest of the videos are on) by searching "D-Town Snow" or something like that.

I may place the link under Educational Links if I find it, but right now... I'm quite lazy.

Would Any of You Like Some Clam Chowder? ...Yes, Corny Joke...

Unlike most people, the shows I watch can sometimes be influenced by a person who is on it.

Let me explain.

The reason I started watching Danny Phantom was because Butch Hartman made it, and I liked FOP.

The reason I started watching The Buzz on Maggie (though I don't see it much often anymore) is because David Kaufman was in it, and he played Danny on DP.

So, I figured that a show created by a guy who worked on SpongeBob and Billy and Mandy would be another one to add to my list of shows to watch.

And I was right.

C.H. Greenblatt's Chowder (for some odd reason, that doesn't sound right...) just aired last night, and I liked it. ^^ Being used to randomness in just about every form imaginable, you can only imagine how interested I was when I watched it. It could very well be the next Billy and Mandy for me (and what I mean by that is: watch reruns all the time and it won't seem to get old to me).

It was the kind of randomness that only very few people could cause. This would explain why Dana Snyder is on the cast (it surprised me, too).

I see another pairing that may or may not become part of my already extensive list. If you have to guess, you obviously didn't see the show.

That's a catchy song, though. "I'm not your boyfriend...I'm not your boyfriend...I'm not your boyfriend..."

...

Still, the thought of Dana Snyder being on the cast of a show like this gives me the creeps...

I Wish This Site Had This Font

Yesterday at school I found a font on the computers that made me very happy. It looked like bold calligraphy with diamond designs in some of the letters.

The name of the font...

...

...

...

was Kefka!

I'm serious!

The first thing I did when I saw that (I swear this is true) was look to see if there was a font called Sephiroth, and there was none!

Score one for the Kefka fans!

Where Did the Summer Go?

School starts tomorrow for me.

I miss Summer already and it's technically not even over yet for me...

Phantom Planet and Son of the Mask

To me, series finales mark a milestone in the history of a show. It doesn't necessarily mean the end (just look at KP), but it's the planned end.

What a series finale is supposed to do is to make you feel content with the possibility that the show will never continue again. It tends to lead to many fanfiction opportunities and opinions about what happens next.

Depending on the content and impact of the finale, you will feel content either much sooner, later, or maybe even not at all. Only once in a great while does a series finale actually make someone feel content right away.

Phantom Planet is one of those series finales.

I don't know if this is the true end of one of my favorite cartoon series of all time, but I do know this: if it's really done, I won't be disappointed. In fact, after Phantom Planet, I don't know how Butch would be able to top it!

Let's spoil some stuff, shall we?

Tucker Foley becoming the newest and youngest mayor of Amity Park reminded me of Jordan from OBAN Star Racers becoming Avatar. You never saw it coming, it changes your perspective on the character, and what a crap-load of responsibility for people that young!

Vlad Plasmius is possibly, probably, and presumed dead. Of course, the world (in the DP universe, at least) probably doesn't care, and must be very glad for it. I, for one, think it kind of sucks, since Vlad was one of my favorite cartoon villains. Why wouldn't he be?

1. He's from Wisconsin

2. He has a goatee

3. He's played by Martin Mull

What doesn't rock about Vlad Plasmius?

Nonetheless, the guy was rammed into by an anti-ghost asteroid that was capable of destroying the planet, so he's probably dead, and my Danny Phantom fanfictions have now officially become A/U.

Danny and Sam are now together (FINALLY!!!). It's about frickin' time.

Jack and Maddie have now seen Danny and Vlad's true colors, which we all knew was going to happen ever since Vlad said that if Danny exposes Vlad, Vlad will expose Danny.

The one thing that I really didn't like about Phantom Planet: the scientists.

No offense to the guys that played them, but can you say "completely horrible acting"?

Seriously, the world is going to be destroyed, and their voices barely matched their expressions. They sounded more monotonous and nonchalant than Mandy.

Nonetheless, this was probably the most awesome series finale ever. Definitely the most awesome I've ever seen, and it clearly was everything the Teen Titans series finale was not: good.

Now, for the Son of the Mask.

I was able to let an hour of Grey DeLisle sink into my brain. Why not Richard as well?

Yes! He's in it! He's the dog. Seriously, you couldn't tell?

Seriously, though... even though I only saw the last hour or so (I'm planning on actually watching the whole thing when it's on today), from what I saw of it... Richard was the best actor on there.

...With the possible exception of Bob Hoskins, but hey... it's Bob Hoskins.

Some Weird Things About Me

Here are some weird things about me:

1. I'm a huge fan of cartoons, videogames, and voice actors. That may not seem weird to some of you, but to people I hang around with in my daily life I'm pretty weird.

2. I can't stand still for so long. I have to sway! I swear to you I'm sober (I'm not old enough to drink!) but I can't stand straight for too long.

3. I've been a huge fan of Grey DeLisle for three years, and it was only just recently I learned how to pronounce her last name (hey, don't get me wrong...I don't think anyone would get it right on the first try if you're only reading it).

4. I'm a fan of Bob Hoskins (Who?).

5. I'm a freakin' weakling and a freakin' wimp.

6. I'm a scrawny li'l white boy.

7. I respect everyone's opinion. I may not agree with it, but I'll respect it...but ONLY IF YOU RESPECT MINE!!! Otherwise, you'll be dealing with one pissed off nerd.

8. I support the troops because they are dying for your right to wear that frickin' "STOP THE WAR" t-shirt.

9. I'm a Christian. DEAL WITH IT!

10. I don't like Harry Potter. It's not so much that I hate the idea, it's just that I hate it when people call me Harry Potter. So if you call me Dib or Nergal Junior, I will be extremely and utterly happy just because you didn't call me Harry Potter.

Well, that's all I'll say for now. If I feel like it, I will add more to this list. But right now...I don't feel like it.

First Blog

Yep. I now have a blog page on a site that has absolutely nothing to do with anything else but blogs (like TV or art). I probably will be talking about TV anyway, but at least I can talk about more than that without people thinking I'm weird...er.

Since I'm new to this site, I'm not going to say much right away. I'm probably not going to be on here much at all. This is just something to do.

It's always nice to try new stuff. And hey, if my sister can make me get a MySpace, why shouldn't I get a blog? The way I see it, MySpace is more dangerous. Heh heh...
